Things to Do

The Catalina Mountains give the area an abundance of recreation opportunities. The Canyons are close to some incredible hiking trails, and when it gets too hot, there are plenty of places to enjoy the air conditioning and entertainment.

Finger Rock Trailhead is an uber-popular Tucson hike thanks to its iconic 100-foot high finger-shaped rock. It’s a challenging hike that is about four miles to the top, though some people make the journey on horseback. Rillito River Park is a serene area full of paved walking and biking paths surrounded by gorgeous flora.

When it’s time to come inside to escape the heat, buy tickets for an evening at Mystery & Magic Dinner Theater Playhouse. A three-course meal and three-act murder mystery play and magic show come together to create an evening like no other.
